Gotta think they're doing another concept now with that bit of info, Dustin had tweeted before asking if people had ideas

 

Feels like it could be a character thing based on Horizon: East thing if that hint is true.

I just want a great record. Dustin’s wrote great perspective lyrics a bunch before. If its a concept, I just hope it’s clear, accessible and welcoming.

Stumbling East

 

I know I'm feeding into extreme speculation based off very little info, but I'd be lying if I told you guys I haven't been thinking about an eastern asian/world music influenced project from them

 

Just threw on Vheissu while doing some work and man, will I forever be bummed that the Chicago date of the Vheissu anniversary tour saw Dustin basically unable to speak / sing because of illness.

 

Whatttt, Everything You Want has easily 4-5 classics.

 

I don’t know what to tell you other than 13 year old me, who purchased the cd on the strength of that song, strongly disagrees with your assessment.

 

Everything You Want was the album 7 year old me fell in love with. My brother and I would listen to it together while I watched him play Ocarina of Time. Those were wonderful childhood memories and this information is relevant to everybody.

 

this. 100% this. I both felt terrible for him and frustrated at my loss in missing a full performance of that album live. Also didn’t play the b-sides. Later I just hoped he didn’t have COVID at the time.

Listening to the most recent going off track podcast with Riley and learned some interesting tidbits I never learned before. During the Island days after TAITA and before Vheissu they had taken quite a few meetings with different producers and one of them was Rick Rubin and reading between the lines it sounds like the other being Howard Benson. Can’t imagine what a Howard Benson Thrice record would have been like
