I'm told Tuesday's news will be the August release information. We'll also get "The Grey" released officially.

 

Finally some light on the new album. Kinda wish I waited until Tuesday to listen as the quality with that clyp link isn’t the best, but I couldn’t resist. Hopefully preorders and tour announcement to come

 

Hyped. August would be perfect to still get a few warm months to play this. All my best memories of their last was listening in the warm months.

 

I am just straight up in love with that guitar tone at 2:45, right before the last chorus. Need this in HQ badly!

 

Pretty weird way to get first listens of new music out there, but either way excited for the cycle to start.

Yeah I avoided. They must have figured that would happen? Would they not want people's first impressions to be of the actual quality?

Hearing the song through Sirius a few times now, I think I prefer TBEITBN's sound despite a limited sample size. However, I can't tell you if the radio version accurately reflects the album's true sound quality. TBEITBN's mix is just a bit more present and loud than what I'm hearing so far. I definitely like Ed's more pronounced bass sound. However, the chorus rhythm guitar could've used a little more juice behind it. Perhaps, they're trying to have the more pronounced bass sound make up for less distortion.

Lastly, there was room for Teppei to really let loose during the last chorus' lead part, but he kept it conservative. It sounds great, don't get me wrong, but I kept expecting him to zag based on two decades' worth of precedent. I'll say this: if this is their "Blood on the Sand" of this record, then we're in REALLY good shape.

Finally got to listen and I really enjoy it. Colour me excited for the upcoming album!

 

Listened to wake up today. Been about a year.

Song is a decent chorus away from being one of my fav songs on the album.

TBEITBN is such a good record.

 

It's the best encapsulation of their sound to date.

Not much going on in that picture, but I like the simplistic nature.

 

Yeah someone posted that on reddit too. I guess we’ll find out Tuesday.

 

They really need to reissue this one. Hopefully it happens in 2019.

 

Hasn't there been plenty of reissues of it already?
