Would be cool if they started playing other b-sides live after Red Telephone. Weight of Glory, Seachange, Answered etc.
Carolina Rebellion? The set was good, but way too short! Dust of Nations Black Honey Hurricane The Artist in the Ambulance Silhouette Suite of 5 new songs Deadbolt Identity Crisis medley Blood on the Sand The Long Defeat The Earth Will Shake Did you stick around for Muse? I thought their set was amazing. I love heavier Muse (e.g. songs like Stockholm Syndrome).
nah. muse has like three good albums and i don’t have any time for their new stuff. we left after QOTSA.
he did his "gruff" type vocal style a lot but ed did the heavier vocals on of dust and nations and the earth will shake, which were their only two heavier songs
You mean Silhouette instead of Dust and Nations? I remember seeing video of The Earth Will Shake on the Circa tour and Dustin seemed like he was yelling more than screaming. Maybe he's losing his screaming voice
he did notably lose his voice when he was talking to the audience after their set. it was super sandy/dusty out, can't blame him
So that means the album is full of DK screams? I’m here for it. Also, just kidding, I know from experience that much singing in and of itself gets tiring. Also also, I’m not kidding about being here for the DK screams
One time on the old version of this site, Dustin had an interview thread, and I was like "hey, noticed you guys play the same setlist night 1 of 2 night shows on this tour, but I'm seeing you on night 1 and want to hear Motion Isn't Meaning...any chance you can change it up for me?" and they played it like 3rd song in the set. I lost my shit, it was amazing.
I asked Riley on his podcast what he could tell us about the new record and he said they are hoping to have it released by the end of the year but we may hear “some of it in some way shape or form” within the next month!!!!!!!!
