Wasn’t the case in Toronto. Movielife was the second band on, and the crowd thinned for bit and people sat down. I like Movielife, so I was a little surprised.
In the off-chance that somebody here doesn't already have it, I have a download code for To Be Everywhere...just PM me if you want it. On a related note, this album sounds incredible on vinyl.
Saw Thrice play at Rockville, they killed it! They had a short set list, went something like Dust of Nations - Blood on the Sand - Long Defeat - Sillouette - Artist - New Song - Earth will shake
Setlist.fm has the setlist as: Dust and nations Black honey Hurricane Artist Silhouette Blood on the sand Long defeat The earth will shake. No mention of a new song
Dust of Nations is their go to open song for festival shows it seems lately. Not a bad choice at all.
I agree. Even when they hang it up for good I can't see them playing a 30+ song set. I just got lucky for that show because I was both living in Orange County at the time and bought tickets the second they went on sale.
Side note: I missed the last couple songs of that set because the girl I was dating at the time passed out during Deadbolt and I had to help carry her outside to get water and air. It was definitely one of the most frightening things I've experienced at a show before.
but why would you take her outside when Thrice is playing Water and Air songs inside ok that was a terrible joke and I'm sorry that happened to you and her :(
love to joke about them playing something new but it be a total gag. what a classic bit. i fucking hate this thread.
