I want some dadgum strings on this album. Is that really too much to ask?

 

I'm (technically) in a Thrice song. Neat!

 

I kinda regret not participating

 

I hope it is just my voice really loud and all the others are super quiet. Then I can say I'm in the worst/most awkward Thrice song.

if I were mixing this I would make the chorus people stand out in the mix

 

I hope they took the one I sent where I say "you are listening to a vagrant records advanced promotional stream"

 

they better have a sampler with that tag on the beggars ten year tour!

 

I can still hear it every time I listen to All the World Is Mad.

 

I can't believe they never made a t-shirt that said, "You are listening to a Vagrant Records advanced promotional stream." I realize they were Majorly/minorly bummed out by it, but after they turned their "Play Deadbolt!" annoyance into a t-shirt, I don't see why not.

 

I'd buy that t-shirt just to see the face of people wondering what the hell that means.

 

Screw it, I'm making one for use at the next show I go to. You'll be able to meet MIKE J in the flesh, guys!

 

I mean – if they made an "I disagree. - Thrice" shirt...

 

I’d buy a “I’ll pay you $800 to hear his record early.” shirt.

 

What was that shirt in reference to?

 

Dustin is highly opinionated (on a personal level, too). He was arguing with somebody on their bus once, and they suggested that they make a t-shirt that says, "I disagree."

Dustin ordered them on the spot.

 

Haha, I know we mock that dude, but I still like the idea, just not to that extreme. It's hard to make a living in music these days. So, why not host listening parties where phones are checked at the door? Pay $10 and listen to the album alongside your fellow Thriceans with a cup of fruit punch in your hand. It's not like a recorded phone version would be shareable/listenable, anyway.

 

Yeah is it insanely different than the preorder offers some bands do where you get the record early or a personal performance for a $1000

If you value the music at that level, and aren’t trying to negatively influence the band or their release...why not.

Seemed like a silly overreaction.

 

just listened to TBEITBN and Vhiessu, thinking about hitting up beggars next. Love these albums so much, what a great band. Starting to think they are my uncontested favorite.

 

listening parties are great. Manchester Orchestra did one for A Black Mile to the Surface and its going to go down as one of my favorite nights ever.

 

went with fire instead. anyone ever wish we had gotten a full LP of that sound?

 

A few of us have said in here recently we hope that's what the new album sounds like

I would be out of my mind happy!

 

When do you all think will get to hear something from this thing? It's rumored to come out in the Summer right?
