It’s the facet of tangible media and more interesting art to admire for me. Definitely a collector’s item, but it’s also a source of detachment and relaxation for me. Vinyl forces you to detach from ones and zeroes. I generally only listen to my records when I have the time to rest. Otherwise, it’s headphones and Apple Music.
When I was just a young lad I misheard the line "we are sons and heirs of grace" as "we are soaked in elbow grease"
THRICE needs to step their documentary game up on this next album cycle. I need another Blu-ray covering the years since "If We Could Only See Us Now." Potential Titles: We Can See Us Now If We Could Only See Us Then If We Could Only See Because We're Blinded Now

The '90s kicked so much ass because of bands like Tonic. I didn't really like Tonic nor did I buy their records, but, they were considered "pop music" at the time. The point is – it was completely tolerable pop music, unlike today's dreck. You wouldn't mind hearing their songs on the radio in passing. The same goes for bands like Gin Blossoms, Wallflowers, Semisonic, Spin Doctors, etc.
