I don’t think this band makes music anymore, but it felt heavly influenced by Fire, kinda the direction I’d love Thrice to take, heavier but more post rockish
Of course they can do whatever they want and I’ll probably love it.

Reading through the liner notes for Beggars (have i really never read these before?) and Ed says on the original demo for All the World the bass was a “super fat, nasty synth tone.” I want to hear this!!!

 

I wonder if it’s similar to the remix

 

I would love to see the liner notes to Beggars if anybody can hook me up with them

 

All the World is Mad already has crazy big sounding bass. I am curious!

Just listened to "That Hideous Strength" for the first time in ages. It used to get the "Play Deadbolt" treatment back in 2002-3. That song really hasn't aged well in my opinion. But, man, it was fun at the time.

 

Does any band have more badass song names than thrice? Methinks not

 

Agreed. Their art direction has been solid from day one, too. They always had the great-looking web sites, merch and branding. Some of you remember their legendary message board, I bet.

 

WTH? I've never heard these b-sides/covers from some Tony Hawk game before.

I feel like it has potential, but the production and quality is so bad on it. It sounds like a demo honestly.

 

In 2001 – 2003, if people heard a double kick pedal, they went ballistic.
