Ultra Blue would have stood more of a chance up against really anything in this round other than T&C lol.

 

Yeah Ultra Blue is probably my second favorite.

 

That’s another really popular one, for sure. That and T & C are ones you always hear get called for at shows from that album.

 

Their (false now) farewell tour where I was able to see both of those songs live was incredible. Being a fan since Vheissu and having to backtrack, I never thought I'd see them played live.

Surprised at how many people seem to enjoy Identity Crisis. I like The Illusion of Safety but heard from friends that IC wasn't that good and heard the 2 songs from it off Anthology and kinda just wrote it off as being something that I wasn't interested in.

Should I give it a chance?

 

Honestly I think the two songs on Anthology are the two best from this album. It's pretty much the least popular Thrice album, but you can give it a listen if you want. It ain't terrible.

 

I’d give it a shot, I think it gives great insight on how far Thrice has come. Thrice is my favorite band though and I do think it’s a good record in its own right so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

 

I always viewed IOS as the refined and perfect take on what they tried to do on IC.

Therefore, I never listen to IC and adore IOS.

 

I would also recommend checking out First Impressions. The band pretty much disowns it but it actually has some good songs like Better Days, Opaque, and the original T&C.

Yeah it probably should have, but the brackets are created randomly and the bracket gods decided otherwise. Even worse is that T&C will be fighting against Phoenix Ignition in round 2, which should have been the final round honestly.

I was going to say it depends on what kind of music you like but I don't really like that kind of music and I enjoy it.

 

This round has gone on long enough.

I can't say I disagree with any of these choices. Toughest matchups for me would have been #1 and #4. I would have given the win to In Your Hands had it been a tie though.
