Another difficult round for me

Damn. My top 2 didn't survive the first round, and now my number 3 is in danger of going down in round 2.

I should have expected this to be rough, but this is destroying me.

 

I think I'll leave this round open until tomorrow. It's the weekend and we are still missing 7-8 votes compared to last round. This way we will only have one round affected by the weekend slowdown.

I can't either, but if it was winning, I couldn't believe we would be losing The Earth Will Shake already haha

Between the end and where we lie is probably my favorite song on the album. It sucks to see it lose to Red Sky by so damn much, which is a good song, but much less interesting imo.

 

Red Sky is so dull next to Between the End

A lot of these brackets are going ways I didn't really expect them to which is pretty neat, just hoping Red Sky doesn't win this tbh

I hope Red Sky doesn't win it all either, but it is top tier and better than Between so deserves this round.

For Miles is out anyway so this is already chaos.

 

I went away for a few days when For Miles and The Earth Will Shake were neck and neck, so super surprised to see the former disappear so early, had that in mind as a potential overall winner too. Red Sky is quality, but doesn't compare favourably for me against the potential winners of the other three match-ups.

 

I mean I love "The Earth Will Shake" don't get me wrong, but I did not expect it to be this unstoppable powerhouse that would topple both "For Miles" and "Of Dust And Nations"

 

Flags of Dawn is so much better than Hold Fast Hope.

 

I remember around the time they took a break there was a little tournament like that on another website and Of Dust and Nations came out victorious. I think Beggars was the other finalist. It wasn't an album by album tournament though.

 

Of Dust and Nations is pretty classic though. This album is so stacked.

 

Of Dust and Nations is much better live than on record.

 

Of Dust and Nations has some of Teppei's best and most inventive guitar work.

 

Of Dust and Nations is the second worst song on the album. Still love it, but I’m tired of it.

 

He has so many good leads on this album, it's ridiculous

Injuries st played this video for my kids and they’re asking for more.

 

It's hard for me to think of a Thrice song that isn't a lot better live. Their live albums are usually my go to haha
