I'll get on this when I'm off work in two hours. Just want to iterate how much of an improvement this record was from the last.
- Avenge the Dead - Where Idols Once Stood (super hard, both are hard hitting tracks with great endings. Idols is just longer so....) - So Strange I Remember You -Deadbolt - Kill Me Quickly (Another really hard one. Expected both to make it a lot further)
Glad to see Where Idols Once Stood getting more love now. That song is just incredible. I can't be the only one that loves Betrayal is a Symptom, right?
1) To Awake and Avenge the Dead 2) Where Idols Once Stood 3) See You In The Shallows 4) A Living Dance Upon Dead Minds 5) Betrayal is a Symptom
There ain’t a song on here I don’t like. But I have a crazy big bias for album openers and closers. And Kill Me is such an amazing opener. That’s why I gave it the nod. That said, the stretch from Shallows to In the Years to Come is FIRE! Shallows, Betrayal, Deadbolt, In the Years. I’m so damn exhausted by that point.
To Awake and Avenge the Dead A Subtle Dagger So Strange I Remember You Deadbolt Kill Me Quickly That sucked.
I know Thrice is a great band with a very consistent discography, but I owe their music more listens to vote honestly.
To Awake and Avenge the Dead Where Idols Once Stood See You in the Shallows Deadbolt Kill Me Quickly Betrayal is a Symptom would’ve won almost any other match up. Shit. That was hard.
Thanks for the tag! Didn’t have much time over the past few days so I was waiting for this one. The red death Where idols once stood Strange Living dance Kill me quickly. The legion of doom mashup with alk3 is insanely good.
To Awake and Avenge the Dead Where Idols Once Stood So Strange I Remember You (this was tough) Deadbolt (also tough) Kill Me Quickly
Ugh the riffs in See You in the Shallows though. This album is so damn good all the way through, some of Dustin's best melodies.
