Whoa, this is hard.

Phoenix Ignition was the first Thrice song I ever really loved. I remember my buddy seeing them just before IOS came out and he knew I loved Phoenix so he called me when they performed it so I could listen via the shitty motorola phones we all had back then.

That said, my vote is for Identity Crisis. While not the song I fell in love with first, it has stuck with me the most of any of the IC songs. I play that opening riff every single time I pick up a guitar.

I just watched both these and both are great songs, esp live. I'd still give Phoinex the edge. It has more chanty sing along moments and is such a head banger.
