I seem to remember getting my Major/minor deluxe vinyl preorder a few weeks before the album street date. Was that an advertised perk of the vinyl preorder? I'd love to get TBEITBN in a couple weeks.
It's tied with Cataracts as my 2 least favorite Thrice songs. Still not "bad" songs, because Thrice, but.
Is the consensus that it's bad because of how "on the nose" it is lyrically? I enjoy it both in instrumentation and lyrically.
Yeah I really don't like that song lyrically. Instrumentally it's fine, but it's never sat well with me for nearly five years now.
don't even remember that song. should I even listen to mm again now becomes the question. I'm thinking no
I like listen through me. So many artists write about religion and God. Yes, Dustin does at times as well. If you listen to any music from the man you'd know that it is a part of who he is. Doesn't make it a bad song. Unless you don't like the music or vocal delivery as well. But really, Identity Crisis is the Thrice is listen to the least by far.
I haven't seen any hate on it. Some people calling it "radio rock" but that's because it's the first single. I trust it'll stand well in the context of the album.
Looks like I completely missed the context of his comment at the top. That's just like, his opinion, man.
Love Blood on the Sand. It's not very intricate or technical, but it gets the job done as a lead off single.
