The Window and Wake Up are the two tracks I'm not instantly in love with, now that I've sat through it twice.
I want lyrics for those two, the whole album really, but I feel like those two would be better if I knew the lyrics.
I'm so grateful for this album to exist and for this band to be back. If I found out the lyrics to these songs were the ABCs I wouldn't really care, haha.
Well I was planning on waiting to listen until I was able to listen all the way through, but I just can't wait any longer. Especially now that it's just staring me in the face. Just finished the opener, and holy hell what a great song. So fucking nice to have Thrice back in my life.
Where I End and You Begin? I Might Be Wrong? Song is killer though. Kind of wish they added more of their Water/Air sound after hearing Salt and Shadow. I feel like this album might be playing it safe a little too much, but it's still very good.
"Black Honey" lyrics still just do not work for me. production sounds great on it though, love how crisp and defined everything sounds Bridge is awesome--that will probably make me come back to it
Water/Air sound is by far their best work in my opinion. Really disappointed this is mostly Fire, but eh.
I think comparing it to one specific EP is shortsighted at best for the large swath of sounds on this album. I think like their last two albums it's the combination of sounds that make this Thrice.
