Honey reminds me of BN

 

The Window and Wake Up are the two tracks I'm not instantly in love with, now that I've sat through it twice.

 

ok Hurricane is already amazing

 

Yeah, just a little bit repetitive, but a great way to start.

 

I want lyrics for those two, the whole album really, but I feel like those two would be better if I knew the lyrics.

 

Those two would be better if they were...well....better songs. :p

I'm so grateful for this album to exist and for this band to be back. If I found out the lyrics to these songs were the ABCs I wouldn't really care, haha.

 

Dustin's vocals are definitely top notch on this

 

I really love what they did with the very end of the record and how it leads back into Hurricane.

 

That scream in the bridge of the window certainly caught my attention. I'm so happy they're back

 

Well I was planning on waiting to listen until I was able to listen all the way through, but I just can't wait any longer. Especially now that it's just staring me in the face. Just finished the opener, and holy hell what a great song. So fucking nice to have Thrice back in my life.

Where I End and You Begin? I Might Be Wrong? Song is killer though.

Kind of wish they added more of their Water/Air sound after hearing Salt and Shadow. I feel like this album might be playing it safe a little too much, but it's still very good.

 

two songs in and the vocals make me want to clear my throat, haha.

 

"Black Honey" lyrics still just do not work for me. production sounds great on it though, love how crisp and defined everything sounds

Bridge is awesome--that will probably make me come back to it

I love Stay With Me...it reminds me of a specific song so much I just can't put my finger on it

 

Water/Air sound is by far their best work in my opinion. Really disappointed this is mostly Fire, but eh.

 

Death from above is definitely one of my favorites on here. IMO should've been the lead single

 

Intro to whistleblower reminds me of cheek to cheek by the starting line, but heavier

 

I think comparing it to one specific EP is shortsighted at best for the large swath of sounds on this album. I think like their last two albums it's the combination of sounds that make this Thrice.
