Wake Up has such a good groove. I literally can't stop my toes from tapping. My wife is sitting across the room smiling at me. She knows this is exciting for me.
"Stay With Me" is such a great song, man so far so very good, I don't see it changing with the remaining tracks either.
So impatient, trying to call them now to get my wristband but I think the line is busy. Agh. I'm super stoked for that day oh my word lol
You can just send the money through PayPal, leave your name, number, specify what it's for. That's what I did. Was able to get a call through after I payed for everything, the guy said their online sales guy will be in tomorrow at 10 AM to confirm orders.
This is track i'm hearing the most conflicting opinions about - i've heard people say it's the worst song they've written since Vheissu, and others saying it's the best on the album.
If this is implying that Vheissu has a bad song on it, you should never take musical opinions for this/those person(s) ever again.
"Salt and Shadow" is freaking everything man, I don't even know what to say about it except that I love it too damn much. Very "Air" and "Water" influenced, I love everything about it.
I feel at home in this thread. You're my people. Minus the ridiculous quibbles that I seemed to skip over, right to the leak.
Yeah, personally I like it; I loved his solo stuff. Juggernaut will play at my wedding. Nah, just meaning since Vheissu (i.e. Post-Vheissu Thrice); not that Vheissu is bad.
Yup, freaking great record. Of course I need to give it a few more spins, but there are some songs on here that I would put up there with Thrice's best. Hurricane, Salt and Shadow, The Long Defeat, and Stay With Me, are my favorites at the moment.
Salt and Shadow. I can't even handle this right now. No hyperbole, this is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard.
Brand New could write a country album (I hate country) and I'd be okay because I have this. That's how good it is. Figured there's enough crossover fans on this site to understand how big that is for me.
The fucking riff in The Window sounds exactly like some old Radiohead song. Anyone hearing it? Idk which one tho off the top of my hand.
