Think Ill skip it too. Especially since I am really looking forward to this one in particular and would rather hear it in context for the first time.

I'm on a real Thrice kick today. Listened to Beggars, Vheissu, the two new songs, and a handful of other tracks. Gonna do my best to wait for the full album but it's gonna be tough if this kick lasts longer than just a day haha.

    Must resist.

I've heard enough to know I'll love the album. Need to hear this in its context within the album.

So good. This might already be my favorite of the 3 they've released. You think there's no way that chorus can get any heavier but then it does somehow.

Spoiler alert: It's the one from the hiatus video, and it rocks

On their next album after this one, I wouldn't mind if they let Teppei sing a little bit.

I think this is Teppei lol:

Musically, the bridge/outro reminds me of "Red Sky," especially the video version of "Red Sky." It has that hopeful tone coming right out of the chorus and intro the bridge.

While I love the verse and chorus music, the verse melody just isn't connecting with me yet.

Thrice has always known how to end their songs in a memorable fashion, and the ending to "Death From Above" is no different. It's easily my favorite section of the song.

I also hear "The Arsonist" in the chorus riff as well as a bit of "Backdraft" and "Like Moths to Flame" throughout the track.

Dustin even says "shut my mouth" in this track like he does in "The Arsonist."

Lastly, Eric Palmquist has done a great job so far. This is their best production since Vheissu (as far as I'm concerned).
