I liked this but haven't listened to it since like June. Gonna give it another shot today

 

I think it has to go Beggars, TBEITBN, Major/Minor for me. Beggars ranks in top all-time, though, so it would take something momentous to unseat it in their discography, personally.

Beggars is to Thrice what The Devil and God is to Brand New, for me.

 

Definitely Beggars. This didn't have any staying power with me, I haven't listened to it since it's release.

 

beggars is my favorite of theirs but i think this is really their best

 

Artist is my favorite but I think Vheissu is their best.

 

ive done this a bunch but let's rank now that this has been out for a few months rather than trying to rank it the day it comes out lol.

Major and minor is way too good of a jam to have that low

To me I always just imagined them in a room and writing really good rock songs

its really boring theres like one or two really good tracks and a bunch of boring ones and a few really bad ones, it was a huge disappointment to come after beggars and it looks even worse compared to tbeitbn which blows it out of the water especially as a straight up rock record

 

But Wake Up is a very boring song. And out of the two, Yellowbelly, Promises and Blur are way more rockin than anything on the new one but maybe Whistleblower.

 

wake up is great. black honey is literally the best thrice song. death from above is also better than anything on major minor. so is hurricane. and blood on the sand. and like, the whole record.

 

lol Black Honey is the best on the album, and maybe best Thrice single released but best song from them overall? Hmmmmm. That's a tall order. I think you just love this album a little too much to be saying all that

 

what? have i ever once denied being biased? everything is just an opinion lol. theres literally no way to be objective so i have no idea what you're trying to say. you certainly arent being objective.

For example, you say Wake Up is great. If it were on M/M I doubt anyone would pick that song out of an album that has so many better songs. You are love blinded sir

 

blinded is pretty good

 

you have absolutely no way of knowing that so thats just a pointless thing to say

 

For Miles may be their best song, but jeez is that even right? Daedalus and Words are up there too.
