I remember that as well. one of my friends said "it sounds like creed"

 

Creed gets too much of a bad wrap. They have some cool songs.

 

Even assuming this to be true, that song did not sound like Creed.

Nor, I should add, did it sound like a barbershop quartet.

 

God so so so glad we have more people jumping in to say “ignore him” while (lol) ignoring my post saying THATS NOT AN EASY SOLUTION FOR EVERYONE AND ITS NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHY

 

I agree with that lol. I love the way you worded it.

 

I hope Palms has liner notes from each band member discussing each song.

 

I remember the live video for the debut of All the World is Mad.

I remember thinking the bass sounded awful haha.

Fire and Water were released a few days afte i moved to Zurich, where i would stay for a year.

I was in a new country where i didn’t speak the language. I pretty much relied on music to get me by.

It was that record and No World for Tomororw.

 

Love their liner notes. I could gush over all of their thoughts on the songs and creative processes being them.

So. Good.

They had liner notes in the vinyl pressings of Vheissu, TAI, and Beggars which were really cool. Do they have them for other albums than that?

For TAITA, they had a card for each track on the album with liner notes, lyrics and art per song. It was amazing. I wish they did that for every record!

There were liner notes on Major/Minor as well.

 

I own two copies of that cd and have an unopened vinyl that I have framed, but I've never seen those. I'll have to seek them out!

 

Thrice is the best band in the world. This thread is one of the worst in here sometimes.

For a thread about a band who sings so often about empathy, especially on their most recent single, that message seems to be lost here.

 

So much for the tolerant lef...i mean Thrice fan.

 

Hopefully the advance promotional stream drops soon.

 

20 days until the album drops. Frankly i am ready and hoping it's as consistent as the first 2 songs lead me to believe it will be!

 

I'm super excited for Palms, just as I am for every Thrice release. Frankly I'm a little concerned about the song structures. They've been pretty unadventurous for a while when it comes to that. The first two have pretty radio-friendly song structures :/

 

Someone else mentioned the song structures as well a while back. Maybe that was you, too. The structures don’t bother me at all.

 

I just want some rippers like At the Last, and Talking Through Glass
