I said the same thing and then as I was about to play Julia again for the 847729946th time I saw this. Oh well. Can’t help it. Glad I didn’t. It’s so good.

 

Damn they were definitely watching blade-runner when they made this album. Its dope.

 

It’s my Sonos app. Just using it to play Apple Music throughout the house.

 

I think I'm struggling more with the fact that it's the opening track.

 

The last minute and a half of the song is really cool but other than that I'm not really into it

I thought about that too. We only got tiny snippets of Hurricane before so when I played TBEITBN for the first time it hit me like a ton of bricks. I respect your stance.

 

agreed. the instrumental and production are just actively not engaging for me, both are so flat

First impressions: the synth is really cool. The lyrics are great. I dig the design on the lyric video.

I love this. This song is infinitely better then The Grey.

The Grey is infinitely better than this song, IMO. But I dig the slow burn of the synths, the bass tone in the last minute and a half, and Dustin's lyrics are absolutely on point.

Only an okay single, but I can see this working excellently in the context of a full album.
