Was I right? I presume some of you have seen the Vheissu of summer movies by now.

 

Why are you doing this?

 

Doing what? Trying to make casual conversation with my fellow thriceans while we await the next release? Shame on me.

 

"Whistleblower" still sticks in my head the longest after revisiting TBE. I wasn't crazy about the song at first, but it's grown on me more than any other track.

 

What movie

 

It's saddly one of my least favorites from the album. The outro is cool, but reminds me of Dust of Nations sorta.

 

I loved it from the first time I heard it. It's the most Vheissu sounding song since Vheissu.

 

I didn't like it at first because of the 'Nations' of it all. But, once I let that go, I've come to embrace the song for what it is. Catchy vocals. Cool outro, indeed. It doesn't 'break new ground,' but I never skip it like I do 'Sand.'

 

Oh I still like the song fine, but it's not my go to song on the album like Black Honey, Hurricane, Long Defeat, Stay with Me, Window or Death from Above.

 

Same. The guitar parts on that one are so good (still not a big fan of the guitar mixes on that album in general, though). I think right after the album came out my favorites would have been something like:

1. Long Defeat
2. Stay With Me
3. Hurricane

but now its

1. Whistleblower
2. Hurricane
3. The Window=Blood on the Sand
4. Long Defeat

Also love Sea Change so much.

 

I hated Stay With Me on first listen, thought it killed the momentum of the album. It’s ok now, but yeah could have been saved for the next Kensrue album.

 

Stay With Me has always been the best song on that album.

Salt and Shadow never gets any love on here. Reminds me a lot of the Water EP.

 

It’s a fine song, it just comes out of nowhere on the album.

 

I loved it when it came out and was in my favorites, but it fell down my ranking with time.

 

'Stay With Me' is one of the greatest songs they've ever written.

 

Hurricane, The Window, The Long Defeat, Death From Above, and Whistleblower are my top 5. Stay with me is towards the bottom for me sadly.

 

Hopefully we get a new song this week

 

I'm thinking early August for a new song

 

which I guess is this week.. Damn
