from how interpreted what was said, it gets a little weirder/more experimental than the last album but not as much so as they have done in the past. My guess is this album ends up being somewhere between Beggars and TBEITBN. WHICH I WOULD BE FINE WITH
Like honestly, if this is them finally settling more into a set sound, it's a very solid sound for them and I'm still excted.
I hope The Grey is the most straight forward song on the record. If it is this albums Blood on the Sand...I think I'll be stoked
I think I like the last artwork better, but this is gonna look cool on a vinyl sleeve. Sometimes think TBEITBN was a bit wordy and /r/im14andthisisdeep
I’ll be happy with the record aslong as I don’t feel like it’s TBEITBN II, that would be disappointing imo. I like TBEITBN but yeah.
YOU haven’t heard of a band?! Alert the press! But seriously, that album is just pure gold. Please tell me you have heard Isis.
Everybody mocked me for referring to "The Grey" as "The Grey Jedi" and yet there's a song called "Just Breathe" which is a Luke line in TLJ. There's a song called "The Dark" as well. Is "Beyond the Pines" Dustin's homage to that awesome Derek Cianfrance movie?
We've been wondering about that actually. Great movie. Great director. Blue Valentine is such a good movie. John Cassavetes would of been proud of that one.
