I actually hate that setlist and I hope they don't use it on their australian tour. The presence of Under a Killing Moon is cool though.
I just bought tickets for Disrupt Fest. A few of the bands aren't on the line up for Charlotte, so I'm hoping that means Thrice gets some extra time to play. I would be 100% with this setlist.
If you're trying to sell the notion that Deeper Wells is a "Palms extension" and not just a bunch of B-sides, then one of those songs needs to be played live.
I think we are more likely to see a deeper wells track performed after he’s official release on digital platforms
Give it time? The EP has been out for less than one month. They've had decent cycles where they've played non-album b-sides in the past with Flags of Dawn, Red Telephone, and Motion Isn't Meaning. I also don't expect them to bust any of these tracks out this summer on Disrupt because that's more likely to be a fan service festival style set ala what they played at Domination Fest in Mexico this past weekend. So we must wait until their next headlining club run...
I would like to see a thrice acoustic or stripped down tour. Maybe a bit more visually driven stage design. Something different.
I'd love another live album in the vein of Live at the House of Blues. That set of songs and Thrice's live performance was outstanding (I even loved the stage lighting)
I think if they do an alt version record I could see them doing this kind of tour. They’ve expressed an interest in doing music like it some day. It’d be great to do a release like that between albums cycles (I’m not saying do this now, but whenever they feel it’s right).
