has anyone thought about the ramifications of Mike J's Star Wars comparisons being even remotely true.
If Dustin says he was inspired by The Last Jedi, I think this thread will explode

its so good you'll wish it was more. Each ep is like 10 mins long so no need to feel overwhelmed haha.

 

I mean, from the lyrics it is a toss up whether the song is about Faith or Jedi.

I think I prefer short album titles.

 

I like the title. Honestly, I was expecting it to be self-titled. 10th album seemed like a good time to do that.

 

I really like the title. It’s simple but can have many meanings.

 

Palms like trees or like hands?

 

M/M is a good rock album, just not a good Thrice record, IMO. Listen Through Me is total cringe tbh.

 

Jason alluded to palm branches a few pages back, too, which have numerous symbolic meanings.

So anyway, I wanted to touch on something earlier on in this topic, it was kinda obvious that they would release the first 3 tracks as singles, when iTunes had it up for pre-order before anyone, those were the only tracks with duration's attached to them. Wouldn't mind if I'm wrong though and it's other tracks since I don't really like singles that are in order on an album, but whatever more Thrice is good for me.

Given how much they hate their band name, I've never expected a self-titled record.

(Good music will make just about any bad band name cool. I've always liked the name.)

 

Thrice is a great band name honestly.

 

You don't have to convince me, but I'll let KensBOOM and TepPOW know.

 

It’s been 20 years. Like it or not they just need to embrace it at this point.

 

My Dad has always called them "Twice", but I think nowadays mostly to annoy me. #dadjokes
