Oh heck yeah, we are ranking things again. Give me a few minutes to think this through and then its rank city.
Bottom five excluding anything from First Impressions through TAITA. In no particular order: Wake up Listen through me Promises Call it in the air Death from above
To expound: Wake up (the chorus just kills me and I can't really get past it) Listen through me (Too worship-y)\ Promises (lyrically always struck me as redundant in lieu of the far superior The Weight) Call it in the air (woof to that metaphor) Death from above (love angry political dustin, but I find these lyrics eye rolling) Lyrics are usually what put me off a song. And these are the five with the lyrics that jumped out to me as off putting today. I would say that the only "permanent" entries on this list are Wake up and Listen Through Me. The other three were just the ones that stood out today out of probably among a half dozen or so.
Bottom 5 is an interesting one. I’m only gonna consider from Artist onward for this one and I think I’d go: Treading Paper Listen Through Me The Dark Hold Up a Light Digging My Own Grave
Anyone have a favorite Thrice memorabilia they own? My favorite is the first pressing of Beggars with the # (/2000) being the area code of my home town
My favorite piece of Thrice memorabilia is this tee that i got at my first rock concert ever, Beggars tour in 2009. Just wore it last week actually.
Sorry my dudes. I just find Whistle Blower the most generic sounding on the album besides Wake Up. Maybe because it takes the intro from a better song or whatnot, I've just never been too big on it which is strange because I love angry Dustin. I hope we can still make this relationship work.
Least favorites post-Illusion Listen Through Me Wake Up As the Crow Flies Night Diving Lion and the Wolf Child of Dust Paper Tigers
I love Whistleblower because of the massive Vheissu vibes I get from it and would argue that it's one of their best songs post hiatus.
Hey Mr "anti half their discography including all of Artist and Broken Lungs", you know you don't have anything to say to me Now how did you like Death Wolf?
