Possible, both seem like closing songs tbh. But only if you cut the like 3 mins of silence out after Pines ends lol. I actually need to do that anyway so I can put it into a mix and not have it interrupt the flow!
I need to figure out how to do that too, and split and cut Manchester Orchestra’s The River/Jimmy, He Whispers. Any idea why the end of Pines has that extended moment. First times I listened to that song I was anticipating a big finish to come back. Either way the song is still great.
I recently watched the movie because of the song. Was sitting in my Netflix queue for the longest time, but I finally decided to give it a chance. Interesting to see both Cooper and Gosling before they got huge.
That expression is from a Rumi poem. The same poem was the inspiration for the lyrics of "Julia" by mewithoutYou. Kind of weird that both songs came out around the same time. Mystical Poetry of Rumi! Yes, I'm just as surprised as you are that Homestead sites still exist.
You all are going to give me a complex lol, make me think I'm crazy and hearing a different song than everyone else.
I'm liking those four songs more than most of Palms. Strangely, I appreciate that the vinyl rip is probably slightly off key, as that's how I always listened to Lullaby and both Vheissu bsides for years before finding them in high quality.
Please don't put the best band alive in a sentence with a band that's barely good enough to be Thrice's tech guys.
