I've been listening to that and Illusion a lot lately, but Vheissu is still my favorite.

 

I'm in the same boat. For Miles being on it is probably the thing that will never not let Vheissu not be my number 1 but man, Artist such a great album front to back.

That palm logo you have as your pic is so awesome btw.

Yo. It's unavoidable that certain artists are going to come up on this website, but explicit mention of abusers (and that band in particular) is in fact triggering to a lot of people here, and no, that's not fucking comical, so when someone expresses their discomfort with those artists being brought up, listen. Have some empathy. Make an effort to learn why. And most importantly, avoid inane bullshit like this:

Yeah, it is a great album. And I love the political bent to a lot of it which is what brought me back to it recently.

I think the picture is of the enamel pin that they have on their webstore. I just found it in a google image search and thought it'd be great as an avatar.

 

Wait...... Emma Ruth Rundle is on a track?! Hell yes! Marked for Death is a hell of an album and looks like a new one from her is dropping around the same time Palms is. This is perfect.

It seems this conversation has ran its course. There was no ill will intended by Kevin with his post, and it's also understandable that Sophos is upset seeing that band name. I still get a weird feeling down my spine when I think about/see the band name. Let's leave it at that and remember there are people on both sides of the keyboard here that are human. There's no need to continue arguing over this.

 

I need to give Artist a good spin soon.

 

It's such a short album too so easy to get through.

I’m not a tattoo person, but if I were to ever get one, I think I would definitely do the palm artwork they have for the sweatshirt with the logo on it

The only thing I've ever seriously considered getting as a tattoo is the Thrice three bars logo.

 

That logo is still awesome.

I remember I carved it into a pumpkin the year of Vheissu.

The talk earlier about m/m made me re-listen to it. I think I may have been underrating this one, or it may have finally clicked. This thing is good

 

Obviously it's referring to the number of points needed to win a standard game of cribbage.

 

I don't know in what universe M/M is anything less than very good. It's definitely not their strongest release, but let's grade on a proper curve here. It's still great.

Vheissu, Beggars, and TBEITBN are top-tier Thrice for me. In that order.

 

I would have to get it some place I couldn't really see it, otherwise I would end up hating it haha.
