I remember reading/hearing the label had hopes of that being a single at one point. I guess that shows you the band will move a song aside if it’s not where they want it. Hold Up A Light made Palms.
I like Lullaby but if it had made the album, it'd be my least favorite on Vheissu. What's the story on that song? Why did it not even make the Red Sky EP with the other B-Sides?
Just gonna drop in and let you guys know: every time someone makes that lazy, terrible joke, it gets reported. I'm at the point where I'm just going to start giving out warnings/points to anyone who makes it again. You are making people uncomfortable and bringing nothing to the table. Just cut the shit.
I'll do you one better and say I wish all bands had all their songs make the album and 10 tracks wasn't the standard.
There was an interview with Thrice posted. A lot of it is about gear. I think it’s cool Teppei’s kids play his piano now and it had been used in a Thrice song. He didn’t say which one, but I’m assuming the piano interlude on Illusion Of Safety. Maybe someone else knows for sure.
I guess maybe he assumes ‘kid in his garage’ kind of start for a a band like Thrice. I guess it was true in 3/4 members (I know two are brothers) story. He instantly thought keyboard once Teppei said piano though, which was funny.
I have a pair of key fobs and leather wristbands from his original project, Truman. They’ve held up well over time.
