YouTube has 'All That's Left' up; they used to have more, sadly.

 

I've heard several variations of Dustin's vocal as well as Teppei's picking style. The crux of the part has always been the same, yes, but it was fluid for a while as far as performance.

 

I heard one where Teppei was doing tremolo picking. It was pretty sweet.

 

Ah, I get what you are saying now. My favorite will always probably be the Live From the House of Blues performance. Dustin gets so intense with it that spit flies out of his mouth lol.

Any word if Deeper Wells will get a digital release as well?

 

The vinyl will probably come with a digital download like Sea Change did.

How many tracks are better than Hold Up?

 

I have high expectations for the new EP. when I thing of Thrice b-sides, Flags Of Dawn comes to mind first.

Also, I’m in the minority, but Hold Up a Light has grown on me to the point where I really like something about the song. Maybe it’s from listening to the album so much, or the dark/light theme, or the lead guitar riff gets stuck in my head. I like it. It’s far from a favourite in this record, but I guess I like it for what it was intended for.

What's the song they are playing at the beginning? It sounds pretty good.

Teppei's reaction to it during that track-by-track commentary on that German YouTube channel told me all I needed to know about that song.

 

Teppei hates a song that he wrote, chose over other songs that didn't make the record and plays it every show since it came out? Interesting....
