Apparently, Ed was rather disappointed that the EP wasn't called 'Deeper Swells.'

 

New Thrice is always welcome. I predict a soft song. A rocker, and two in between both.

 

I predict no songs will have guest vocalists.

 

They have names.

 

Deeper Swells' 4 songs are guaranteed to make us hate "Hold Up a Light" even more. I can't wait for all the armchair sequencing.

 

I'm going to armchair sequence the hell out of this and you can't stop me

 

I still think Hold Up a Light is great and I stand by that.

 

I will pray for you tonight.

 

Maybe if he said hold up a light a few more times I’d dig it.

I’m bummed that Palms hasn’t stayed with me considering how much I loved it initially, but that’s okay.

I would really just love to pick Dustin’s brain on a few things. I know he released his reading list, which is as close as I’ll ever get, but his sudden shift in theology was pretty jarring for me. It felt sudden, but we can see the history and graduality of the shift in retrospect.

I still highly respect him, and don’t have the “you’re a heretic now” mentality that so much of his “fanbase” seems to have reacted with. That’s been the most upsetting part to me, seeing the vitriol thrown at him on Twitter by people acting intellectually and spiritually superior to him.

Anywho. Give me more Thrice please. I want more songs like Branch and Pines.

I've said 4-5 since August. Actually, I checked my receipts last night and I first said 4. So, take that, Teebs.

I really never want to go to Warped Tour again...but those lineups look pretty fun

Hopefully, Riley's back holds up this time. That said, those stripped down performances were rad.

 

It's interesting to watch the evolution of the extended Deadbolt outro. If you reference the early versions of it circa 2003, it evolves with each era of the band.

 

I've only seen the few short clips theyes show on the If Only We Could See Us Now DVD. I'd love to have those recorded .

 

How so? In youtube clips I've a seen they seem to have done it pretty much the same since at least Artist.
