7/10 times I pop my head into this thread I see a post that makes me retreat back out.

 

Until the Palms b-sides EP, a new tour, or Dustin and Chase announce something all things Thrice could be a little quieter in terms of actual news.

 

At least the vinyl wars seem to have subsided for now.

 

But I still haven't received the vinyl I ordered...

How did .k. listing off a list of general actions Thrice have taken which indicates Thrice’s growth and experimentation turn into all of that? You people are ridiculous. He was literally commenting on the the general act of using a guest vocalist. The act of actually considering doing it at all regardless of who it was and then actually going through with it. Nothing was in the context of the act of using ERR specifically. Nothing about what he was conveying had anything to do with ERR. It was solely commentary about Thrice collectively being willing to let someone else that isn’t them be on their record for the first time ever. What. The. Fuck.

Switching gears. Only Us live was absolutely gritty. Was a bit heavy too, but not as heavy as I thought it would be. VERY gritty though.

Next gear switch. Mike J, do you just steal the information from my posts on Reddit and come here and post it like it’s something new and special insider information that only you have and you somehow get away with it because no one here Reddits to be able to see what you’re up to? Literally every time I post something on Reddit with news, the dates on your posts show that within the day, typically the hour, my information is here under your name. I’m surprised you didn’t share my info about the Dustin Kensrue guitar. But then I remember I deleted my list before anyone could see it.

Last gear change. Vinyl. Still waiting on my replacement. Talked to my rep at Epitaph recently about it. Basically they are waiting their turn for Wax Mage to press their order. It’s not like the one guy at Wax Mage can just instantly make their order, out of hundreds, jump the line and be next.
