The burying of the mic sound effect is amazing and adds so much to the song. I want that kind of outside the box thinking on the next record.

I never said a group/festival show wouldn't happen. I said a Seether/Thrice tour would never happen. This is still gross, though.

 

The world wouldn't be able to handle a Seether/Thrice tour. This is the best we'll get sadly.

Seeing Seether fans dig Thrice would rule as well as seeing the uppity Thrice fans crying about Seether.

 

Just do a Thrice/Dirty Nil tour

The only other band I would see on this lineup, othrler than thrice, is maybe Live.

 

Even though I haven't really liked any albums from them in awhile, Shinedown and Seether both still put on great shows and have a ton of good hits. Live would be great too, Throwing Copper is such a classic. In This Moment would rule too and never seen them live. Bad Wolves as the good Cranberries over and I don't know much about the other 2 bands.

 

Same. Live was one of my favorite bands for yearrrrrs. Mental Jewelry, Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi, The Distance to Here all are loaded with great songs.

Seether is nothing approaching nu-metal. They're post-grunge through and through.

 

Thrice touring with bigger bands is not a bad thing.

 

Denial is a symptom. Every trash nu metal band plays the "post-grunge" card.

 

Thrice's Shinedown set will be "Hold Up a Light" and "Wake Up" on loop.

 

It's a shame Buckcherry wasn't available for this bill.

 

The fuck? These are VASTLY different genres.

 

Discussion is a great thing, but talking about music you've never taken time to listen to is just dumb. There are miles of difference between those bands and something along the likes of Buck Cherry and Puddle of Mudd.

Opinions only really mean anything if you know what you are talking about honestly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and it's clear he doesn't.
