Lmao i missed this. Godammit Edit: there’s a cloudy one too, i didn’t see that! Thanks for the heads up
It’s not really a matter of affording it, as it is having no other option. Rent in our area is upwards of $1800-2000 for even a small family home. A mortgage on said small family homes would be $1200 or less (with Home insurance and property taxes included in that number). Plus, it’s a good investment if you’ve got the credit for it. My student loans made it a bumpy road, but we got there.
I couldn’t afford my house, still can’t. Idk why we did it.. I guess we thought it was better than renting which felt lik throwing money away.. also we did fha which only required 3.5 percent down. property taxes in nj go up every year, it isn’t easy.
Thrice thread is now homebuying thread. We head to get super creative with our loan, but it’s conventional, and the home is a fixer upper. We are actually about to start renting it for two months while we are under contract to buy it, because the roof needed replaced Equity is building quickly in our area. Just owning and doing nothing at all to it, we will have $20-30k in equity within a year.
I can only afford it cause me and my wife both work full time. But even then I’m having to work on my credit and get suuuuper creative with budgeting to save up the money for a down payment.
So that red splatter was out of 100? How much was it posted for pre order originally? I at least got the gray/black variant.
Live in West Oakland. Houses in my hoody ass neighborhood are selling for 900k to 1.2M. Staying in rent controlled loft forever.
That is brutal!! Around outside of Salt Lake City where I’m at 900K could get you a very very nice house. My budget gets me a small 1960’s built house
We have to imagine 5 of these 10 songs will push 4 existing set songs out (as "The Grey" is already a staple). I'm guessing "Sand", "Belly", "Hope" and "Exile" will be bumped.
The title seems really fitting to me just figured this out. Its their tenth record so two hands 5 + 5 = Palms.
Taking Yellowbelly out would be terrible. Song rules live and they already play little to none of M/M, even took Promises out of the sets awhile back. That ending jam always sounded so awesome live.
The only staples I want on this tour: -Silhouette -The Earth Will Shake -All The World is Mad -Yellow Belly -Hurricane -Black Honey I think those will be played still, which is good because they are heavy hitters. They can fill in the rest with whatever. Out of all the times I've seen them, they always switch it up and have some surprises. I trust them.
