No one can give me grief for not liking the new 1975 or foxing albums anymore, because I know for a fact the bands don't like them either so I'm still their number 1 fan. Also I am constantly disappointed in them but still number 1 fan.
So you’re admitting that you aren’t aware of the inner workings of contracts made between successful bands and their respective labels.
Suffice it to say, a band with a lot of clout and acclaim such as Thrice might have more pull in dealings with their label than other bands
I normally only log on during work because of kids and such, but glad I didn't miss tonight. Have a great weekend everyone and don't forget when morning comes, hold up that light!
When a record executive is presented with a record, the first thing they do is listen for the single(s). This is common knowledge as well as common sense. Unless you're footing the bill to some degree, you have no say in how your corporate overlord spends their money to market their artist.
Nice change of subject: If you were in charge of a 20 track list greatest hits album and had to include every album except First Impressions, what would everyone's track list be?
Had to delete over two paragraphs of a post because what’s the point. I don’t even get to know the dudes band
