It died on the operating table which is why it didn't make the record. Hold Up a Light was also a belabored track, only it somehow made it on the record.
thats fine you think that :} from a production standpoint, it is a golden standard. it really feels like pure rock and roll.
what the hell does opinion have to do with it? I just don’t understand why a band would choose a song that nearly didn’t make the album as a single
Bands don't choose their singles. That doesn't change the fact that the song nearly died on the operating table a la Lullaby.
Do I really need to cite the interview that I already posted in here? Did you guys collectively suffer a head injury? Why am I the only one who remembers the details?
Whoever said Pianos put out a status quo sounding record last year was wrong. They’ve been evolving since TLLA. I would never hear a song like Blue or Forevor Sound on their last two albums.
Wait For Love is incredible and the person who said this should be utterly ashamed for even thinking it.
Aah, i was listening to Palms again last night and i have to admit, i think i take this take back. "Beyond The Pines" and hold up a light have always fought head to head for my favorite, but last night Pines just hit me like a ton of bricks.
I said it, I don't know why you guys didn't just quote me, it's on the previous page, come at me bros. But seriously though, I'll elaborate, Wait for Love was a natural evolution of their previous album, I didn't see it as experimental, that's what I was getting at. I compared it with Foxing, because that was a weird album (in a good way) to put out after what they have done in the past. Wait for Love didn't take a leap like Foxing did or like Thrice did with Vheissu, that was my point.
