I wonder if they asked Queen Julien to appear? I bet they did. Plus, she was on tour during their sessions which aligns with Dustin's story.

I just went through the same thing. Saved for a house for over a year. Just closed 3 weeks ago. Back in business.

 

I'm sure there's a bit of recency bias here, but I think Palms is their best album artwork to date.

I'm counting on some birthday money next week to make up for this purchase, because otherwise, I did a very bad thing considering we are pending contract on a house.

 

After making a budget a while back (while saving for a housing downpayment actually...) I cut out vinyl collecting altogether. I have trouble with moderation, so it was pretty much all or nothing in my head. Unfortunately, a lot of hobbies have gone on the backburner...

By the way, the director of the video for "The Grey" clearly enjoyed Twin Peaks S3 (as did I).

 

This is where I'm at haha. My "spending" money portion of my budget keeps getting spent on lunches with coworkers and then I don't have any left over for hobbies. I need to start making lunch haha

 

Though.. My concert spending has not gone down. It's a generality, but experiences > things. My travel budget hasn't gone down.

Wow. I didn't realize this was a thing. I'm not into vinyl, but given the level of demand that I see on here, as well as the lack of supply, I shouldn't be surprised by this. First tickets, and now vinyl. Vinyl vultures?
