But do they have to call it paint by numbers. That seems unfair on any level of critique. Unless he is color blind.
It's not unfair if that's how I feel. Paint buy numbers isn't a bad thing, just means they didn't go crazy with it. I like the song a lot and every band has paint by numbers songs that are great.
I don’t think it’s always a negative critique. I just have a reallly hard time thinking that track ever qualifies as that. Good or not. But with all sincerity. Merry Xmas. I like the song. You don’t. We will keep marching on.
Haha but I said I do like it! I love the whole album, I was just ranking the songs, all of which I find 9/10 or 10/10. Even though I love it all, when ranking there has to be a bottom song no matter what. Merry Christmas my dude!
The hate probably comes from the fact people expect more from Thrice than a generic and repetitive radio rock song. It’s kinda fun I guess and has grown on me, but still probably the worst on the record.
