Yeah I really like the new album a lot, but I can totally understand this stance and maybe even agree with it.

Great: Yellow Belly, Promises, Call It In the Air, Blur, Anthology (though it doesn't fit on the album), and Disarmed

 

I personally would add Treading Paper, Words in the Water and Cataracts to your list (maybe remove Call It in the Air) and the rest would be just good/decent songs that I don't ever seek out but wouldn't skip.

I think I remember you saying the overtones in the lyrics don't sit right with you though right? So def no Words in the Water for you?

 

Cataracts is one of the best songs on that album, dude. (though I agree with your choices otherwise)

Yeah, the lyrics on those other songs is an immediate no for me and ruins what otherwise might be good musically.

I don't want or mean to insult anyone's beliefs, but those songs are just not for me, and that's okay.
