Dang did they play a different song instead of Beggars?

 

Seems like they aren’t really following the fan votes.

 

They played the long defeat which doesn’t appear to be on any of the set lists from their previous stops. They were great, Although there seems to be something just a bit missing from how the new songs translated live. Less energy than I would’ve expected. Like in the heaviest part of only us, for example. Of course, it could’ve been where I was standing.

 

Beyond the Pines was fucking beautiful

 

Are we not spoiler tagging anymore?

We also got Yellow Belly instead of Firebreather.

I am kind of bummed we didn’t get Beggars.

But it was still incredible.

So Palms is doing pretty well it seems like, all good for the band!

 

Lol if someone gets mad at me for talking vinyl I really don't care. But saying that they somehow fixed the issue is disengenious as hell. People didn't receive what they expected and them offering a refund for returning the thing they didn't expect is not a good solution. And this is coming from someone who hasn't complained about receiving the other variant. What they offered is bullshit, they are at fault and they did nothing to fix the situation.

 

It any of you don’t want that rare variant I’ll be glad to take it off your hands. Website overload charged my card for a bundle without me even getting in the end. Refund took three weeks to finalize when it was all said and done.

Off topic: I’m really enjoying the album Palms by Thrice.

 

18k is good

 

Why do I feel like 18k is low though? I know historically it’s good but I know they have more than 18k diehard fans, right? Just seems low.

 

Perspective the foxing record did 3k

 

I guess everyone is streaming it. Is there a certain number of streams = 1 album sale? Or is that not how it works?

Disappointed in no Song for Milly live, but a lot of the newer stuff is more chill so I get it, but gimmie that shit.

 

Amazing song

 

My one wish left as a Thrice fan is for them to put the live version of Milly on a dang album. I will never forget hearing that song live in Richmond and the feeling that version gave me.

 

They're eventually going to make a record that rearranges many of their best songs. Milly has an outside chance for such a record, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

I appreciate Milly on the record, but I agree - the live version is just incredible.

 

7 overall on Billboard. That's really good!
