I still really don't like Everything Belongs. Branch gets better and better though, need to see that live

I like the whole album, but I think if I had to rank the songs Everything Belongs might be my least favorite track on there.

 

someone mentioned that "Everything Belongs" kinda sounds like a worship song. As a former worship pastor, this is accurate.

To me it sounds more just like a generic everybody-love-each-other song.

On M/m now, Blinded is such an underrated song imo.

 

Cataracts still doesn’t work for me. The heavy/dark bridge in Call it in the air is still great.

Someone from here should bring the vinyl issue to their attention.

They can go all KENSBOOM and TEPPOW on KRM.

 

Vinyl gets delayed all the time. Try ordering something around Record Store Day that isn't a Motley Crue or Beatles 5LP Box Set with a shimmer screenprint and deluxe coffee table book with liner notes, and it'll definitely be out a month after the supposed release date. Shit happens.

 

Ok that’s a cool story and all but do they usually send you the wrong product as well? Because that’s what we are talking about here.

When that happens, I'm generally used to receiving pretty good customer service from outlets like Deathwish Inc. and even Merchnow before. IDK. I haven't even received a shipping notification about my pre-order yet so I don't really have an opinion about this specific Thrice release yet.

Given how things are going in my personal and professional life at the moment and the plight of our country, I'm not going to contribute much here other than snark, shitposting, and thoughts on the new record.
