I’m glad I stopped buying vinyl. I do like what I have from my vinyl buying years, but I don’t have a player and don’t see myself investing in one that would be worth it. I have them more as a piece of art than anything.
So did anyone check out Dustin’s reading list? Beyond the Pines is definitely from Rumi, as mwY has very similar lyrics, citing him as well.
I really like this album. Don’t know rank but pleasantly surprised. Chorus review posted this week likes it in ways I don’t. This is one of the few bands where I legit think people love them for exact opposite reasons / track listings. One of the few. Pretty cool how broadly they appeal.
I’ve jammed Palms every single morning as I get ready for work. I can start it at a certain time and the album ends right before I walk out the door. It’s so great.
No new thread. This isn’t vinyl geeks, this is people upset they were wronged. Those packages weren’t cheap.
For those making complaints to KRM here are links to higher quality images direct on Thrice.net. Bundle 1 (Clearly shows Wax Mage OG Splatter) http://thrice.net/wp-content/upload...Collectors_Deluxe_Bundle_1-v2-min-768x768.png Bundle 2 (Shows Clear + Colours) http://thrice.net/wp-content/upload...Collectors_Deluxe_Bundle_2-v3-min-768x768.png And here's a bonus screenshot with the bundle wording. As an aside... Wax Mage 100% did press both variants. Not that that's the overall issue but I know it means something to a few of you (and myself). Source (comments)
Hey that's my IG! haha, but yeah.......I've emailed KRM the pictures from Thrice's site and asked for an explanation. I told them I don't want a refund or to return the records that I still haven't received (2 weeks after the release date), but I do want them to make this right. We'll see if they respond.
