I ordered bundle 1. I haven't opened it yet, but it arrived at work today. I hope I got the clear with red black and white stripe since I think it looks way cooler and was what I was expecting based on what went down back in July, as @Kmil said in their post: Kinda sucks that it might not be a Wax Mage pressing, but not really all that upset about it. But if other people are reporting getting refunds while keeping their vinyl, I'll certainly give that a go.
Also, some advice if you're asking for a refund: be reasonable with your request and ask for a partial refund based on the amount that was paid for the /100 variant. I know the grey/black and 180g black were each sold separately, so you can just subtract those. CC Epitaph on your complaints to KRM too. If KRM doesn't respond, or responds unsatisfactorily, then submit a complaint to the attorney general or similar government consumer protection agency. I would do that in both the state that you live in, as well as wherever KRM is headquartered, maybe where Epitaph is headquartered too.
I'm an in-house lawyer at a large e-commerce company and part of my job includes advising on "escalated" customer complaints.
Shot a message to Epitaph and Thrice included the email from KRM admitting they switched the bundles. We’ll see what happens.
I emailed a complaint. Like. I feel genuinely upset seeing that one. I am still questioning whether the splatter variant Bundle 1ers received was really done by Wax Mage.
I love Thrice so much that I worry about Ed and Teppow breaking their wrists, hands or fingers while skateboarding on tour. #KnockingOnMaple
Literally just created this account to tell you guys I tweeted at Thrice to get attention to this to get a resolution. Please view and retweet!
Just made a post on IG and tagged all parties involved as well. Squeaky wheel might get some grease...
A photo of tonight’s Thrice.net page. Just wanted to show that the claim about a “mix-up” or inentional change is an outright lie. This was a huge mistake on Kings Road’s part that needs to be fixed.
