It’s the end of an era, but what a great ride. I’d love to not say a word, to just keep tight lipped....but this morning I looked at my order page and it read “Paid: Order Shipped”.

 

Expected delivery on Thursday.

I’m leaving for the Thrice show on Friday on Thursday afternoon.

At least it shipped, even if it sits out in the Florida elements for the weekend.

 

Pretty excited to see these start rolling in......i'm still holding out hope that the "deluxe" vinyl applies to the packaging and record itself.

Looks like the set has solidified, they’ve only deviated the second night. This makes me very happy. I hope it stays the same at least through Friday night.

 

I need Beggars in that set list.

The song. The whole album.

I just need it.

 

I won’t confirm or deny anything, but since they just released Palms, it would seem really weird to play Beggars in full.

But maybe they are?!?!

 

Beggars can’t be Choosers, unfortunately.

 

But it’s been ten years!

By the way, I already know the general set list.

Just don’t want to outright spoil it, but I would not mind at all if they decide on the Orlando night to just straight up play the album (Beggars) back to back.

I just love it so much.

 

It’s their best album, so that’s understandable sir.

 

SUBJECTIVE

 

I mean, as long as they play the new songs they’ve been playing and keep their current encore, id honestly be cool with that. Though, there are a couple songs I’d be bummed weren’t played, Beggars in full would make up for it.

 

Also, @Kevin360 and anyon rose going to Orlando... is anyone else going alone and wouldn’t mind hanging out? I don’t mind going to concerts alone, but it could be fun to talk Thrice all night in between sets.

 

I’ll be with my wife, and we tend to just stand up against the balcony. But I’d certainly say hello.

I don’t belong in the pit these days, and I like something to lean on because my back is usually hurting before the first set starts.

 

Word. I tend to try to get the balcony as well, but if you don’t get the front and aren’t tall it’s a pretty bad view. If you’re in front it’s a great view of it all. Since I go alone, if I do get the front, it can be challenging to hit up the restroom and come back to my spot.

I’m too old for the pit haha! I’ll ether be in the balcony or in the back of the first floor. I wish this place had seats in the balcony like Cleveland does (did? Haven’t been there in a decade). You could pay for an assigned seat and also go to the pit if you wanted to. If the show wasn’t sold out the staff would generally let us sit up there even with GA tickets for Headliner. Oh, memories.

 

It's only been 9 years (and almost 2 months).
