I may be the sole person who doesn’t love Beyond the Pines above everything else. Don’t get me wrong, it’s brilliant and really a great closing track, but I don’t find myself going out of my way to go listen to it over the rest of the tracks (except Everything Belongs, which is my least favorite).
I just listened to this in my car and it was so much more enjoyable than through my shitty headphones.
Can’t wait for Friday so that i can finally listen to this. I’m gonna do my standard listen: once as the artist intended and once with the songs in alphabetical order.
Just a little something I picked up while listening to the Grammy Award winning experience known as The Canyon by The Used.
To clarify my joke to those who weren’t around for the best thread of all time: A former user and ultra Used fan once posted about listening to The Canyon in alphabetical order for reasons beyond understanding. It was a glorious time.
Oh he's not a former user, he's still around. He just doesn't post much because there is nothing to say about The Used right now except on album anniversaries.
I think the worst part of all that is that his posts are automatically deleted after a few days, so we can't go back and relive the madness.
Oh really? I couldn’t find any of their posts in the Used thread when I looked recently. So I assumed the user was gone. Goodness, did I enjoy that thread.
Yeah I remember he posted 2 weeks ago on the Artwork anniversary. I remember him saying he has a setting to automatically delete his posts after a week or something.
That is incredible. And it completely adds to the allure of those posts. Best thing I’ve heard all day. I’m gonna have to start following them so I don’t miss one.
