Blood on Blood my early favourite, is just a beautiful song, lyrics are fantastic, huge Beggars vibes and also harps?! What more do you need in a song?

I hate that this is out there and my preorder won’t arrive until later this week. Don’t really wanna plunk down 10 bucks just to hear it a few days early. Hoping my vinyl shows up sooner rather than later.

I could hear Dave Grohl singing Hold Up a Light.

 

I actually think I like "Hold Up a Light."

 

Okay, I think I love this album. It's like a culmination of all of their previous work rolled into one cohesive album. One of the tracks (A Branch in the River) even has some Artist vibes. The production is super crisp, and the bass is high in the mix, which I always appreciate.

I seriously love everything about this. Gonna end up very high on my Thrice ranking I think.

 

I’m just gonna spend the next week going through their discography on repeat I think. I love when a new album by a band makes me want to do that.

 

what in the mother fuck is up with the cymbals during the chorus of the dark?

 

"Everything Belongs" reminds me of Dustin's solo song "Of Crows and Crowns".

 

aside from that baffling production choice the dark may be their best song to date tho?

everything belongs feels like the kind of song we havent gotten from thrice in a while

 

my soul is also slowing things down in a way that they havent in a while. im really, really digging the vibes of these two songs back to back.

 

Okay but this is a good thing. That makes me hype for that song. Also hype for A Branch In The River as I have wanted a heavier heavy song from them for a while and it sounds like that is it?
