At least 4 people around me recorded the entire set so there will be video later I'm sure. Loved the performance and how each of the guys took time to thank and shake hands with every fan who was in line during the signing. I've been to 15 of their shows and never met them before except for Ed at Fest so that was pretty cool.

 

that's a heavy acoustic set.

 

They'll be professional videos surfacing eventually. All of these acoustic shows at Park Ave are recorded. The few songs they played sounded amazing and it made me about 10000x more excited for the actual show tonight

 

I love Hurricane even more acoustically.

But it's for my wife being pregnant. Haha. They'll be letting us go in the handicap accessible, which is pretty awesome of them.

Just had dinner at D-Luxe Burgers in Disney Springs. Tasty joint.

 

Holy moly did not expect this long of a line waiting to get in tonight haha

 

Kudos to the three guys who tried to crash the line right in front of me and hundreds of other people who waited for hours. Hope you enjoyed that security escort to the back of the line.

 

Security and the staff in general are top notch here. Great people.

I had such a great time tonight. Thrice was so good. And I got free tickets to see Motion City Soundtrack while in line!

 

Atlanta was a lot of fun. La Dispute was nearly ruined for me by a couple next to me who spent the whole set loudly making fun of the band.

 

It was an incredible show last night. My ears are still ringing a bit, my voice is dead (which is tough because I'm in between sermons this morning, on less than 4 hours or sleep, after getting home at 3 AM last night), and my neck hurts from getting into The Earth Will Shake a bit too hard.

Also, can confirm, because Dustin belted the line so clearly, the final line of Blood on the Sand is definitely "I'm so sick of this shit."

 

i definitely heard 'sick of this shit' at the Atlanta date.

Also, probably a surreal experience hearing that song specifically in Orlando last night hours before that shooting.

 

The show last night was absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. Thrice was one of the last few bands on my "bucket list" but I can't help but feel very little towards the show once I learned of the shooting that happened. It's now the worst mass shooting in US history. Truly terrible stuff.

 

Do we have a Gates setlist yet?

 

The tour pressing sold out last night. They should have limited them to so many at each date and per person. I'm just happy I was able to get one.

I like this band.

 

Sermons went well. One of those situations that I had to apologize upfront for the rasp and semi-lack of articulation.

Stay With Me was awesome. Love that song.

 

Damn really wanted to pick up a tour variant. Surprised it wasn't limited because I would have liked to have a chance to buy one.
