Can't wait for the Denver date. Me and my friends have all gotten married and moved apart and on to different stages of life so we rarely see each other. We are getting together and road tripping from SLC to Denver for this. I seriously can't wait
Man I was so excited for this since I love Thrice and La Dispute. I bought tickets back when it was first announced and now I'm finding out I won't be able to make the show.. :(
They tweeted they're working on a cover of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water for this tour. Part of me is a little upset about that. It's like... you have nine albums. No cover songs.
Yeah, doesn't seem like a song they would even cover in the first place, but maybe they've got an interesting take on it or something... REALLY want to go to the Austin show but it's on a weekday and I'm 4 hours away. I've seen them at every Dallas show since Artist came out. Hate to miss this.
Fairly certain that was a joke. Only one of them is playing the song out of the three and even then it was a half-hearted jokey sort of rendition. They're not fucking covering Smoke on The Water on their first headlining tour back from hiatus lol.
I'll be there too. On vacation in Florida and seeing Thrice for the 4th time. Stoked. How is the HOB in Orlando?
I've actually never been to this venue. This will be my first time. This will also be my fourth time seeing them.
I'll be at the Lawrence, KS, show! Coming from St. Louis. I've heard great things about the Grenada so it'll be fun to check it out.
HOB Orlando is really nice. It's kind of a pain to get to sometimes since it's in Downtown Disney but the venue itself is great. Sound quality is top notch. Definitely my favorite larger venue in Orlando.
My wife will be 8 months pregnant at this show, and we were thinking that a balcony seat would be best. What's the best plan for us to do this? I've heard a little about their VIP access by spending $40 at HOB. I've been trying just to get early dinner reservations for the restaurant there, but I really have no idea how it works.
Personally I've never been up on the balcony except for one time when Underoath had their merch up there for some reason. The box office is extremely helpful though so if you give them a call I'm sure they would be able to accommodate your needs with no issues and you should be able to make dinner reservations as well. Hopefully that helped a little bit. It should be an awesome show. I'm really looking forward to it.
I never got to see Flags Of Dawn, so that would be probably my only "deep cut" I would wanna hear. Although, they never played Moving Mountains live I don't think and that is one of my personal favorites. I'm fine with hearing most everything they play.
