Couldn’t find a Thrice only page, but this came across my feed. Apparently the kid from The Santa Clause covered deadbolt with his band!?
Isn't it strange how this game works? We obsess about the most minute details for months on end, and then it becomes dead quiet until the cycle renews.
My wallet hasn’t been dead quiet. I’ve ordered the fuck out of every piece of merch this album cycle. I think I’m literally only missing the Gnash shirt and the skateboards.
gave this a little bit of rest but coming back to it and falling in love all over again. this is a really important album for me and i needed it this year
Since it’s been a bit since release, and I’ve had time to digest the album more I have a few other thoughts. Even though the anticipation was hard waiting for the album to come out after some delay I’m glad they took their time to finish it. It definitely shows with how good it is. I still love the production from this and H/E. I wonder if they will continue this team for the next one. also fun little thing: thinking about if they could work with another outside producer I’d like to see what they could do with Matt Goldman (grew up with the T&N Underoath records and LITSOS is big for me) another from left field choice would be Aaron Spinkle. Definitely not the type they would probably ever work with but love all of Sprinkles stuff from the golden era of T&N basically want my old Christian bands/record’s married with my love of Thrice lol
I've been a fan for a while and was able to shoot part of their show when they were in Minneapolis in November. Crazy experience being ahead of the barricade for Artist in The Ambulance and Gnash. Always a good show! Thrice — HM Magazine
4 studio albums since their last live album. i agree that they're due. songs they should add on a 24 track 2 lp live album: hurricane the window black honey only us beyond the pines (album closer) northern lights robot soft exorcism dead wake vesper light gnash albatross dark glow blackout (album opener) mixed in with: cold cash artist circles doublespeak atlantic for miles broken lungs firebreather yellow belly so strange deadbolt
the whole last setlist would have been perfect ngl, one of the best chosen sets ive ever seen and vesper light was something else entirely
Yeah, uh, whatever happened to that? Is it going to end up like this Ernie Ball live in studio recording that they teased heavily on the TAITA Revisited podcast only for it to be released like *18 months* later?
Yeah speaking of that, saw someone mention that the Converge and Norma Jean ones were recorded months before they came out so might be a while for Thrice’s :/
