IT’S A DISASTER

 

I've got a very distinct memory of listening to East for the first time, taking it on a morning run on release day. It was a perfect match for the weather.

Looks like we'll have beautifully crisp temps late next week, and I'm looking forward to repeating that experience.

I think the band thread is far weirder. I didn't realize the diehard level of thricers on chorus. Like every other page is something theorized that required hours of research and I'm like... you guys realize this is Thrice right?

 

Maybe so. Whichever Thrice thread. They're all weird.

Oh shit, we get new Thrice next week and only heard two songs. So so stoked.

I really loved it. It’s kinda dark and weird, but I think that’s what I love most about this band. It’s almost like a moodier Vheissu, with less hooks and more focus on harmonic structure. I think it will be a little polarizing but it hits my taste pretty spot on.

 

Holding On / The Dark Glow Are both dropping on Monday

 

Don’t think those are the words I’d use to describe it. Don’t think it’s that dark or weird.

 

It’s kind of funny and cool how everyone interprets the same music differently.

 

I love when it comes to thrice how much of the fan base has a different favorite album also I wish they weren't dropping new songs until the album gets released.
