Agreed with the sentiments it’s my favorite since Beggars. Think it might be the best produced record from them too. Or at least this is how I like them sounding

I wonder what /West holds for us. /East has great opening track and I think Scavengers was such a wise single choice.

I think I still would put TBEITBN above this on my personal rankings, but there's no doubt the production on this is top notch

Some pretty funny Thrice talk in the Charlie Has Cancer episode of the new Always Sunny podcast.

I used to notice they had Thrice stickers all over the place in that show

This is a damn fine cup of coffee.

Riley delivered a phenomenal episode on Reply Alt. He dug into the Island years in a way that was far more detailed than usual.

To follow up on Dustin's Horizons/East tour "uniform," I randomly watched some Thrice shows from 2007 and he was wearing the exact same uniform. I know only three people care about Dustin's tour attire, but there you go.

Finally got my vinyl copy for this. Been enjoying this so throughly on vinyl. Still stand by this being the best post hiatus record and really, really close to Beggars and close to overtaking it.

also, hot take but I think Still Life might be my favorite song on this.

Still Life was far and away my least favorite on my first few listens, but it may now be my favorite on the record as well. That song is a journey.

I feel like that is a lot to say with a record that has Robot Soft Exorcism and Dandelion Wine on it. For me, it’s what I’ve been wanting out of a thrice song. Also brings so much imagery to me.

also a big thing for me with this record is Dustin’s lyrics. Haven’t been the biggest fan of his lyrics post hiatus (love the political stuff, but got a little simple for me?) but feel like he stepped up his writing for this record

My favorite songs have been all over the place. Scavengers, Still Life, Buried In The Sun but now I’m thinking The Dreamer is ultimately my favorite, just a great album.

The Colour of The is great intro
Scavengers was a great single choice
Still Life still gives me a cool experimental woodsy/forest/outdoorsman/isolation feel which is so cool
The Dreamer is cool could have been a closer too, in a way and is really catchy.

Probably my top four from this record but there’s not much difference between 3rd or 7th favourite or son.

Buried in the Sun still hasn’t clicked with me as an independent track or East as a closer. This album will be right near the to of this years favourites, and it’s exciting to know a H/W is being worked on, hopefully for a 2022 release.

This is a damn fine cup of coffee.

The Dreamer was far and away my favorite at the start, but Still Life gradually took hold as my number one. I gotta hear that bad boy live.

Dreamer is probably my least favorite on here. Favorites are Color of The Sky, Northern Lights, Still Life. They all take turns jumping up to my top spot.
