You're right. At the beginning.

 

That Future Islands performance is an all time great.

 

It’s definitely interesting.

 

Here’s the show I went to where he moved around the stage a bit on Beggars, so fucking good

 

Yeah I remember him messing around with an iPad during "Digital Sea" during the farewell tour

That was the last time I saw them, 9 years ago. Damn.

 

Is the album fading a bit for anyone else? I still think it’s good, but I’m beginning to think I won’t be coming back to this that often in the future. Color of the Sky, Buried in the Sun, Summer set fire will be the “classic” and “eternal” songs in Thrice’s catalog.

Still a big improvement over Palms and I’m content. I’m looking forward to the 2nd half!

 

I’m still really enjoying the album, but I took a slow approach to listening and only listened to Scavengers of the song singles. I see myself listening to this album a lot like the others.

Scavengers gets better every time I listen to it.

 

I sorta wish there was a second Scavenger-ish song on the record though. Great riffs. Maybe on West

 

It’s definitely the most “Thrice” song on the record.

 

This album is only growing with each listen. Not even slightly fading

 

I treat Scavengers, Summer and Dreamer as a trilogy. They're the more traditional and accessible Thrice songs on the record.

 

That Future Island performance totally got me on board with them. I used to find his voice a little annoying, but someone genuinely enjoying their music that much is beautiful. Love that band now.

Is that kind of post really necessary?

 

I didn't block him, he blocked me.

 

So you know you’re blocked and still choose to be petty? Like, what? How hard is it to just move on if you see it’s a blocked post?

 

A lot of interactions with phaynes are not pleasant and they’re typically rude to others on here in my experience. Kevin on the other hand is one of the nicest people on this site and I’ve witnessed phaynes being extremely “petty” to Kevin and others over the most ridiculous things. Phaynes is antagonistic, but yet they blocked Kevin who has never negatively engaged with them. Hence why I believe Kevin made his post.

Kevin didn’t say anything out of the way and he’s blocked, so Kevin’s harmless post really didn’t need commenting on. Now, let’s get back to talking about this album and not silly shit.
