Interview: Thrice's Dustin Kensrue on embracing the Line 6 Helix and redefining boundaries on new album Horizons / East
Anyone at that show last night? How was the crowd? How was the masking? I know it was Texas, but I feel like it’ll be indicative of Orlando next Friday.
Put that setlist together as a playlist on Apple Music and listened to it on a run this morning. Worked really well.
Looks like pretty much the whole set has been uploaded to this person's YouTube page for anyone interested
So weird seeing him move around stage. Legit don’t think I’ve ever seen that and seen them live prob 20 times
I’ve seen him move around stage 1 time out of 10 shows. It was during Beggars. It was also on a large festival stage so maybe that’s why.
The only time I remember seeing DK without a guitar on stage was during the Farewell Tour's final shows and the performance of Avenge.
When I see Dustin in his new uniform, I see a former priest without his clerical collar. I'm sure I'm reaching here based on his evolving faith, but that's just what I thought initially.
I feel like he was standing in front of vocal board and singing thru some weird ass phone cord effect mic during most water / weirder fire songs
Yeah I remember him messing around with an iPad during "Digital Sea" during the farewell tour That was the last time I saw them, 9 years ago. Damn.
